[ Amos shakes his head, fingers tapping at the computer, navigating through menus and sheet after sheet of information. ]
No. But it's Martian tech. Works the same as the Roci.
[ He makes a noise. ]
Looks like the only offline system is the weapons system. If I can find a way to decrypt the data, we could always try to see if the camera picked up anything on transfer.
[ Leaving the computer on the cradle of her helmet, Amos runs his hands along the retracted plates of the armor, going along the arms and checking the joints. ]
What about the haptic response undersuit? You got that too?
[ Amos looks at the undersuit, checking the connections and nodding to himself. He keeps going, checking every joints and the plates linking them, making sure they're not damaged. There are scuffs here and there, but nothing that would lock Bobbie in one position or hurt her. ]
Would be better if I had a multitool. Some of the plates are a bit tight, need loosening up, but otherwise it looks to be fine. I can't see any obvious tampering that's been done, apart from the weapons. I wonder if we can plug it inn to a console and download the data to check if there's been anything done to it since the last you touched it.
Well, if Naomi can't do it, there's an AI around, might have a clue. He came here on a separate computer and installed himself on the Reverie consoles.
From what I gather, yeah. He could also be fucking with all of us and be part of this place, for all I can check. Naomi's the one who is good at computers.
[ If you're anything like Amos and only ever got to see this kind of armor in action when you were running from it, this is an exciting moment. He can't wait to see how the haptic suit connects to the myriad of tiny connectors he can see on the inside of the suit, how the two work together to follow Bobbie's movements seamlessly.
He hands out the undersuit to Bobbie, eyes shifting between her and her armor. ]
[Bobbie nods in thanks, then unzips her jumpsuit and shrugs it off. She doesn't really care about Amos seeing her in her underwear, honestly, and the undersuit is quick and easy to get on, anyway. She zips it up, fastens the collar around her neck, and reaches for the leg pieces first. God, it's nice to have this thing on again.]
[ While Amos most definitely looks, because Bobbie is gorgeous, soft skin and strong muscles, he also isn't all that bothered by the sudden amount of skin on show. Just like he doesn't really give a damn about nudity for himself - a body's a body, and it does what it's meant to do. The situation right now is nothing sexy.
She's into the undersuit in seconds anyway, and Amos passes her the leg pieces, watching as she puts them on. ]
[ He moves around her, pushing the button to open the door to the corridor. Bobbie looks even more impressive like this, and Amos can't take his eyes off of her. ]
How's the HUD? Displaying everything you're used to?
[ He knows MCRN Marines get their power armor to be custom fit to their bodies, so there's no point asking to step into it. But man he wishes he could. ]
Feeling good? Anything too tight, or not moving properly?
[Bobbie bends her arms experimentally, walks in a quick, small circle, the familiar whir of servos accompanying each movement. It all feels perfectly natural.]
Everything's moving fine. It's like they just swiped my gun and ammo and didn't touch anything else.
No idea if we're not going to stumble upon a weapons locker tomorrow. And with this on, you can throw a punch that would bruise even Apollo. That's already a solid sight better than it was better you got it, isn't it?
[ Since when is Amos the hopeful guy? He's not exactly that, but he's also not a pessimist. He's realistic to a fault, and she's able to deal much more damage than when she didn't have the power armor. It's an advantage. ]

Right here. It looks like it's in perfect shape.
[She lays it down on her bunk so that he has it in easy reach.]

It's worth a shot. It should have logs of every component added or removed, but I don't know how to connect it to one of these terminals.

How much does this thing weigh?

[Bobbie gets the armor on with the quick ease of long practice, but leaves the helmet off for now.]
What do you need me to do?

Yep. Everything looks normal. It's giving me a warning about the missing parts, but that's it.

Damn, but that looks good.
